As we have the ability to list over one million items on our website (our selection changes all of the time), it is not feasible for a company our size to record and playback the descriptions on every item on our website. However, if you are an American with a disability we are here to help you. Finally, your personal shopper will explain our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and help you place an order if you so desire.

To our extended Michael’s Family:

 Once again I would like to take a moment and update our community regarding Michael’s Appliance Center operations going forward. It has been a long two months for everyone; thankfully we are making progress in containing and controlling this outbreak.

 First and foremost my condolences to all who lost family or friends. Knowing Michael’s has done (and continues to do) all we can to help, does little to blunt the pain. There are no words.

My heartfelt thanks to everyone on the front lines working to contain this virus. Making sure medical needs were tended to, emergencies were responded to, food was available, and every store clerk that was badgered incessantly about not having enough toilet paper.  I truly hope everyone has a newfound patience and respect for these hard-working folks.

As an essential business, Michael’s was able to remain open throughout; I take the health and well-being of everyone very seriously and as such have abided by (and sometimes exceeded) state directives on being open and operating.

We have an updated aggressive cleaning and sanitizing schedule in place, company policy regarding movement throughout the facility is far more restrictive, and the showroom has been rearranged to maximize distancing.

As we begin the slow process of reopening business to the public I will be implementing the following changes effective immediately:

 

  1. Our showroom floor is open by appointment only. For our employees’ safety and yours, only two people per appointment will be allowed in the building at any one time and no children. We have disposable masks and gloves available for use and require you to wear a mask while inside the facility. While not required, we also ask that you wear disposable gloves while browsing the showroom as cleaning machines between customers will be difficult at best. We will unilaterally turn away any customer refusing to wear a mask inside the facility. Also, please do not show up to the store without prior approval and having received confirmation to come in; unfortunately, we will need to turn you away as well. To schedule an appointment, please use the blue button on the top right corner of our homepage.

 

  1. Our phones will remain fully staffed. We have been very successful in working over the phone and internet with our customers and will continue to do so. Some of the staff will continue to work remotely and will not have access to inventory and other on-site material. This will delay every department in responding to the increase in calls; please understand we may not be able to answer calls immediately and leave a message. We WILL get back to you. Please refrain from calling multiple times as that delays our ability to respond to all calls.

 

  1. Our parts department will remain open for outside pickup only. Customers have been very happy with how well this has been working so we will continue this until the showroom fully reopens (and maybe beyond!). Parts customers must call the store, place their order and pay for it over the phone. We have outside pickup racks were we will put your order so you can drive in, pick up and go. No parts customers will be allowed inside the facility at this time.

 

 

  1. We will continue to deliver and service appliances as part of the critical supply chain. While our delivery and service teams take every precaution possible to stay healthy, we ask our customers to do the same by doing everything possible to stay clear from our team members while they are in your home. We need them to stay healthy and we certainly don’t want our customers falling ill either.

 

Again, Michael’s Appliance Center commitment to everyone starts with me; I will do everything in my power to safely and reasonably tend to every one of our customers while protecting my Michael’s family here at the store.
