We bought our upright freezer a few months ago everything has worked as expected. It stays shut and everything in it stays cold. Don't regret the purchase.

We came home from a trip to find that our old freezer had quit. Everything was thawed, but still cold. We needed a freezer asap. We looked around for a few days and were thrilled to find this one on clearance because the box was open.It is convertable to be a refrigerator, which is interesting, but I don't think we'll use it. We like the drawers and door shelves.

We have had this unit for years now and its great, be careful. IF the door is not fully closed an alarm will sound , but its not loud and temps drop quickly if just slightly ajar..... If there is a power failure, make sure it returns to the freezer setting,there are different setting on the control panel to change the MODE. Ours has returned to the refrigerator mode and slowly allowed the frozen food to thaw before we noticed the displayed temp (we keep it in garage) There is also a "Demo" mode that is not discussed in the user manual that will not allow the unit to cool... holding ( +/setting) for 10 seconds (+) will get you back to active modes.....Terrible user guide. Not real user friendly display controls, But the Freezer is Great when set correctly.

Purchased 10 days ago. It has space, but not enough for gallon milk bottles. All shelves aren't adjustable, so there's no choice where to put stuff. The shelves aren't wide enough so you are limited on the size of items. I wouldn't recommend for a large family who needs lots of space and all shelves to be adjustable. A regular milk gallon bottle does not fit easily in the doors. Round bottles aren't accommodated by the designer, hence a lot of space is lost. This was not designed for a real family with younger children. It was designed for square, slim, flat, short contents.
