I would say that it's a great dryer but after a little over a year it started having problems. It makes the most horrible high pitched noise. My husband tried to find out what was causing it but the whole thing is enclosed and there is no way to get to the parts. My older one was better. I'm sorry that I gave it to my daughter.

I bought this dryer along with a washing machine a year ago and now my dryer is making a high pitched sound when running. Very upset as I am now out of warranty. Of course it starts happening right after my one year warranty is up. I heard good things about Maytag and did my research on this model before purchasing. Very upset about this. Now I have to pay for a service tech to come out and diagnose the problem!

I bought mun6a couple months ago and am very happy the performance. The large capacity means freer loads. This is a great time saver.
