I purchased and installed this dishwasher, and at first we were very happy with it. Very quiet and sharp looking in our kitchen. After year 2 it started having troubles, and it would finish a cycle and dishes would be as dirty as when they went in. The washer motor would only start pumping every other cycle we started it. Now it has completely stopped working and the replacement motor will be $300, just for the part. I consider the washer motor to be a fairly important component in a dishwasher and can't believe Whirlpool is making ones that fail after 2 years! No doubt this bill will be $500+ to install. Very disappointing.

With prior dishwashers, we have always waited to run it when we went to bed, because they were too noisy to run while watching tv or having a conversation. This Whirlpool is so quiet, we barely notice it.

we purchased this unit a short while ago to replace an older unit. we installed it ourselves, the instructions were very good and easy to follow. When we turned the unit on for the first time we had to check to ensure the unit was running. The entire cycle is so quiet it's amazing. The cutlery basket being on the door allows a lot more space for dishes etc.
