It is very quiet but when dishes are done the inside of the dishwasher is still wet and you have to leave the door ajar to get rid of the moisture, I also do not like the covers on the silverware holder and have taken them off.

Loved it until it stopped cleaning :(

We were so excited to finally have a dishwasher that cleaned dishes without pre-scrubbing! It fit the bill- for awhile. Little by little it started failing. We tried everything- adjusting the detergent, cleaning the filter, you name it. It would run through the whole cycle but the dishes wouldn’t be clean. We finally resorted to calling a repairman. $100 later we found out it needs a $500 motor. He told us that he’s seen this model lasting 2-5 years max. We’ve had ours about 3 years but it only worked like new for the first couple :( Needless to say we’re just buying a new one. And sadly probably not a KitchenAid.
