This microwave came with our house & is only 4 years old. The bottom of the handle started cracking a year or so ago and it finally gave out this week. The door has always been difficult to open/close as it’s very stiff and loud when closed. Also, the BEEPING. I planned to replace this microwave before we had children anyway because it gives off 3-4 LOUD shrill beeps at the end of cooking, and they do not stop by opening the door or hitting cancel. Also, if you don’t open the door within a minute, they start again and cannot be stopped. Horrible design Frigidaire. Seriously glad this looks to be disco’d because no one should spend a penny on this thing. Please consider how appliances impact our homes before you launch new models. Fancy features are great, but when the microwave can wake the dead (or a sleeping baby), it’s worthless.

I bought this microwave about two years ago and it died last week - replaced fuse, but it blew again within a week. Repairman said it would be too expensive to fix. Buying a new one, but not happy with this product!

So far, so good!

Microwave stopped working after 1 1/2 years. Warranty is only for a year.
