It works just as it should and keeps the room cool on the temperature desired. Having a remote is great.

I purchased this unit yesterday from a local store in Kansas City. It was an open box and I noticed the remote was missing. The store said they couldn't do anything but to contact the manufacturer. When I got home I sent a note to Customer Service and by this afternoon received an email stating the remote control was on it's way to me. Since it's a little cool here in KC, I did not try the unit on cooling, but connected it up and tested out the heat and it works like a champ. We all know that most all manufacturers make fairly similar and quality units. However, as far as I'm concerned, the great customer service I received from a young lady at Frigidaire puts them way on top of the list.

bought from lowes last year......has worked very well to date......one problem though......no remote control with air conditioner.......be careful and check parts before you leave store

Doesn't cool the same as the one i replaced.

The read out display could be brighter. The 12,000 btu unit I replaced cooled better. It quite doesn't compare.
