We got our refrigerator about a month ago from my sister in law. The old filter was long overdue for a replacement and the water and ice kind of smelled funny. I installed this filter replacement and almost immediately the smell was gone and both the ice and water tasted great. It was a little difficult to set into place but once it found the groove it went in and fresh water was ours.

I received emails and mailings warning me that I should replace the water filter in my LG refrigerator. I bought the filter. Filter looks fine except my model doesnt use a water filter LG decides to make it difficult for me to send back.
