I bought this unit in February. I called in May and finally a technician came out and he was not surprised to see the icicles hanging on the top right hand side and door of the unit. He said mine was the worst he had ever seen. I literally have to take my blow dryer and melt the icicles and then wipe it down. My friend came over yesterday and I told her about the problems I was happen. We walked outside in the garage to see it and she said she had the exact one and it has sat unused since she bought it in October waiting on the part. These freezers are lemons and should be recalled. There is nothing “Garage-Ready” about this freezer. Our money should be returned.

I can't believe I bought this thing. Upon plugging it in, I could hear the fan rubbing something from 40 feet away. It seemed to cool, so I went ahead and put food in it. Now, I realize it's not freezing, and assume that it's because the fan is not fully working. Also, upon loading shelves, they bow from even a slight load because they are so cheap and flimsy. While it's only been three days since purchase, I'm now stuck with "service" that has a hold time of over 45 minutes, then just cuts me off. Price was good....too good, and indicative of the very poor quality throughout. Now, I have to waste hours hauling in, and restocking the old freezer, to keep my food from perishing.

Bought at Costco. COVID19 gift from our kids. Worked great for 6 months, then started to get fan blade chatter in back. Then it stopped freezing and ZERO RESPONSE from Frigidaire. Taking it back to Costco, who informed us they have had MANY problems with this unit. Wish I could give zero stars.
