I have had my machine almost a month & working great! This is my 2nd Whirlpool ice machine....when mine of 7 years went out I knew I had to have another one & it had to be a Whirlpool!

This ice maker was shipped to me as a replacement for a Kenmore Elite ice maker I had that broke. I have an American Home Shield Home Warranty Contract. The Whirlpool one has a light inside when the door is opened. My Kenmore didn't have that feature. Nice.

We had the older model of the same ice maker. The new model is really nice because the controls are inside the door and now there is a light inside the unit.

this is the best ice maker. We love the ice. Makes a lot. It seems the new refrigerators don't make a lot of ice therefore that's why we purchase ice maker. We are big ice water drinkers.

My first whirlpool icemake worked perfectly for 23 years! When it quit I really missed it! My children and grandchildren did too! I would not have selected another brand. I am counting on another 23 years service from this one. I will be 95 then and will probably have to cut down to one toddy a day.
