We bought it couple of years ago and still today we are really glad that we decided on LG. Fourteen cycles including steam: you couldnt hope for a more comprehensive selection. The tub is huge it runs smoothly and quietly and the pre-programmed heat spin and temperature combinations are ideal although they can be modified if you have a special preference. It senses the weight of the load and dispenses water accordingly. HE truly means a savings in the amount of detergent used per load. If we had to replace it we would buy the same model.

I bought this 6 years ago and I am very pleased with the performance. The machine does a great job cleaning my towels clothes etc. I have learned how to use it to better fit my needs by utilizing the different wash settings correctly. The machine can be a bit rough on my nice clothes. I believe it twists the shirts too much on the normal cycle but I now utilize the delicate cycle for my nice shirts and the are cleaned just as well and not twisted as much.

We bought the washer in 2018. It has served us well since then until a part broke. We bought the washer from Home Depot and bought the 5 yr extended warranty. About a month ago the door lock quit working. I called Home Depot service and after many emails between Home depot the warranty company and LG I received a visit from the service person. He agreed with me that the door lock was broken and ordered the part. It came in over a week ago and he finally replaced it yesterday. I did not have the use of the washer for almost a month even though I identified the problem immediately. Bottom line: Washer good. Service takes too long with unnecessary delays due to poor process.
