Four Reasons to Buy an LG Dishwasher

Put Enhanced Cleaning in Motion

Achieve maximum cleaning throughout the entire cycle with LG QuadWash . With four spray arms instead of two, QuadWash also includes Multi-Motion arms that rotate back and forth while spinning. The high pressure jets power-clean dishes from multiple angles.

Think you have to check on the dishes? Think Again

LG smart dishwashers come with SmartThinQ® technology built-in, so you can get smartphone notifications when a cycle is complete. That means less waiting and more time to yourself. You can even check on the cycle status with voice commands using the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, so you don't have to lift a finger.

Count On It

When you buy a dishwasher, you want something reliable that you can count on. Because the Direct Drive Motor uses fewer moving parts and operates more efficiently, LG confidently backs the motor with a 10-year warranty.

Easy Loading & Maximum Flexibility

The newly-enhanced EasyRack Plus system provides outstanding flexibility and convenience, adjusting to just about any load of dishes to help ensure optimal cleaning performance. Easy to adjust on-the-fly, this racking system can shift to handle any challenge your dishes can serve up.

Quiet Operation

LG's technological advances, like the Inverter DirectDrive motor and the advanced self-cleaning filtration system, were designed with quiet in mind. At 44dB, this dishwasher is among the quietest dishwashers in its class.

We already had it serviced once and it is not acting up again. The touch panel does not power on even though there is power to the unit light is on inside the dishwasher. We constantly have to go shut off the breaker and turn it back on for it to work again. Sometimes a few times. Its ridiculous that something so basic would break.

First off my appliance guy recommended this unit as he has had the least amount of repairs with it. Huge capacity and multiple zones fit. The bill for my large family. Having three racks of space really makes a huge difference.. The washer has a staggering array of features. Auto wash specific zone wash multiple dry sequences this washer has it all. I am duly impressed. I can even download special cleaning cycles over the net. There are no shortage of features here The challenge and reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the main oard went out after a year of working fine. It threw a few errors codes and then stopped working. But thanks to LG Service I ordered the new part and its on its way. I hope that fixes it

Well thought out but not reliable

Weve now had the unit for almost four years Dec of 22 will be 4. It generally works well and has nice features silverware rack for example and adjustable height of the middle rack. Shortly after we bought it within a couple of months the control panel plastic surface split. I called LG and they told me that it was a cosmetic issue that did not affect performance and was therefore not covered by warranty. See photo.. I felt that it was a potential place for moisture to get into the switches in the control panel and cause failure and felt that it should have been replaced. The middle and bottom racks experienced corrosion one has been replaced under warranty. See photo of middle rack corrosion. They told me the 2nd was going to be replaced but it hasnt come yet - Ill have to call them back and find out where it is. If you get they idea that Ive spent more time on the phone with LG support you would be correct. And there are more issues. One is that the dishwasher develops a funky odor if you dont leave the door open after it runs to let it dry out thoroughly. Our last dishwasher was in place for 20+ years and never had this issue but washing machines tend to do this.. I do clean the filters regularly and run the cleaning cycle per instructions when prompted by the machine. The cleaning cycle is actually a GOOD thing - you simply put a cup with 8 oz of white vinegar in the top rack and run the cleaning cycle. No purchasing special washing supplies. Anyhow doing these things doesnt prevent the funky odor - only leaving the door open after running for a while so the interior can dry will fix that problem. Finally our latest issue is that the unit pauses itself midway through the washing cycle. A pause per the user manual is what happens when you open the door midway. The white LED on the front of the unit blinks indicating pause vs. on solid indicating that the cycle is on and running. You then have four minutes to restart it or it just shuts down and you have to restart. SO if I hear it beep when it pauses it beeps several times then I just open the door it start close it and it runs to completion. The issue is now I have to stick around and babysit the dishwasher to coax it through to completion. Better than washing them all by hand I guess but not what Im looking for in a dishwasher. So Im afraid that I cant recommend LG dishwashers at this point. Im hoping others are having better luck now. Remember that our unit was new in the fall of 2018.
