Out of the box with issues...

I waited nearly five months to receive this appliance after it was repeatedly backordered by Whirlpool. It finally arrived, and the first time I turned it on, the cooling fan is broken. The ovens arrived 6 days ago, I've already made a warranty claim, and I don't have a fully-functional appliance. Sadly, the cooling fan part is also out of stock with Whirlpool, so we don't know when that can be repaired. I still have to go through the process of meeting another repairman and having the ovens pulled out of my cabinets again (with attendant mess). When I spend $3,500 on an appliance, I expect it to work upon installation. The only reason I didn't rate the unit as "poor" was because it looks and feels nice, and fit my space right out of the box. Even the display looks high-end. If only it worked... I should have bought the Samsung ovens instead.

Defects in both glass oven doors

Pour workmanship – both double oven doors have crystal like defects inside the two glass windows. Plus, the person who called said there or no techs in the area where we live to come out and fix the defects and or replace the two oven doors. (I am on my own to find a tech). (I am not sure what will happen when we turn on the ovens with these defects - so we have not used the ovens yet).

If this oven hadn't of come with the house that my husband and I purchased, I would have never bought this oven. The user manual is 100% useless. Does it tell you the oven sounds like it's on even after you turn it off because there's fan running - No. Does the manual tell you how to switch between cooking methods in the same oven - No. Our lower oven ran for an entire night because I tried to switch from bake to broil. No indication it was running because it sounds just like the stupid fan that's supposed to cool it. Takes forever to preheat, even with the rapid setting. And does Whirlpool customer service/assistance even answer the phone - absolutely not.

The ovens themselves work fine, however, the wifi connectivity along with the internal meat thermometer are spotty at best. This is a huge disappointment because these were the features that sold me on this appliance. When something has all the "bells and whistles" I expect them to work. I have done all the necessary steps and even had an expert look at the issues and they appliance is still failing to do all that it claims to do. I wish I would have opted for the Kitchen Aid.

Was advertised to have proofing function. It does not. Indication of current oven temp does not work. Meat probe does not work.
