Frigidaire GALLERY™ 30" Induction Cooktop

We replaced an older gas range top with this beauity. It cooks so much faster and cools so much quicker than any other method I have ever used. The best part? Cleanup is a breeze! Nuff said,

Bought this about 6 months ago for a remodel and just had it installed about 6-7 weeks ago. This thing is fabulous...boilng water in less than a minute so pasta is a super quick meal now...great for sauteing.

We bought this for our new kitchen remodel. I have never had an Induction stovetop and I absolutely LOVE it! It heats up within seconds and I have boiling water or whatever I am cooking heated in no time. I wish I had been introduce to this sooner. Love the smooth top and no buttons, makes my new countertop long and perfect. Thank you!

This thing does some magic where your pots get hot directly, not by heating a surface under them or by shooting flames up their bottoms, but by having eddy currents generated within the pot metal by some awesome voodoo... it's cool stuff. The problem is that not all pots will heat up, since they have be magnetizable. I could only use 2 of the pots I had, but that is not a negative as this is part of getting an induction cooktop.So far I really like it. It is impressive how quickly thing heat up, or cool down. There is a little noise generated by the vibrations of the cookware, but nothing that bothers me. One thing I do not know, is how long this cooktop will last. I did not get the extended warranty yet, so if if fails within the first 5 years, make sure to look at other review sites as I am sure Frigidaire will not let me correct this 5 star general.One silly thing about this pretty expensive device, though, it comes with the fixing hardware for Formica counter tops... how many people buy a $1000 cooktop and don't have stone? Some people have been upset by this and by having to buy the (apparently expensive) hardware for stone. Don't be dumb, just flip the hardware upside down and you can use it with whatever counter top ... just be careful to measure well.

Easy to install, just resized the cabinet opening and wired it in.The speed of cooking is really amazing, it will boil water in under 2 minutes. The speed of adjusting the cooking temperature is instantaneous. The unit is very quiet and only makes a tiny noise, when using the power setting.If it proves to be reliable, we will be happy campers.
