Horrible customer service

I bought this 2-1/2 years ago, then it stopped working completely. I ordered a new computer board for $150 and had a professional repair man put it in. The new board immediately burned out. I called Frigidaire and they said "too bad" you have to pay for another board again! After an hour of arguing they finally charged me 50% $75. For many years I owned a company that assembled this type of computer board, this board probably coast around $15. The new board works fine. I will never buy another Frigidaire appliance. Things break, I know that but customer service should be just that, customer service!

I’ve had this refridgerator since the summer of 2016. We bought it to replace a 1960 something avocado green fridge with one door and a freezer box inside that had to be defrosted all the time. I wish I had that old thing back because this new Fridgidaire literally doesn’t work. From the second we bought it we knew there were problems and even got an extended warranty because we knew it would be trouble. It just plain doesn’t work. It will randomly shut off and stop cooking or freezing anything. And when it does work it sounds like a car without a muffler. We’ve had the repair person out here at least five times and they’ve replaced everything - and one part two times already. He’s coming again next week, but not before another fridge full of food has been lost. We’ve spent more on spoiled food than this refridgerator cost. I guess you really get what you pay for. I’m never buying anything from fridgiaire or it’s parent company Electrolux ever again. Obviously they have no issue with selling garbage.

We are very happy with this new fridge. Temperature control is set to medium and yet it cools very well. Sturdy construction and looks very nice. . We live in Manhattan, New York and love the fact that the fridge is very silent which is a big plus in NYC where apartments are small and often the bedroom is rather close to the kitchen.
