I bought this fridge October 2017 for a house under renovation. The house was occupied in March 2018. I had to call for technical support twice before the 1 year warranty expired. Then in August 2019, two other problems: the light on the fridge side was not working and the fridge was not cooling. The warranty had expired and I called a technician. The door hinge was bent, the door was not closing properly and that is why it was not cooling. I have never heard of such an issue: what kind of cheap material is Whirlpool using to save money on the hinges? But the worst is the light: I called Whirlpool to get a quote to replace the light and was told the part costs $300! The fridge cost $1500, so that part alone costs 1/5 of the price of the item. I AM WARNING ALL: don’t fall for this money pit . I will replace the fridge rather than pay Whirlpool another cent for its shoddy product. I contacted Whirlpool to ask that at least a warning given to potential buyers but was told they will simply file my complaint. Buyers BEWARE!

Ridiculous, internal LED lights only flash when either door is open, nice strobe effect, but useless to see inside the fridge. Of course, they are built-in so they cannot be replaced. I sell LEDs for a living, so having them in a cool or cold environment SHOULD be ideal, the colder the longer LEDs last, however, Whirlpool obviously decided to install inferior LEDs and then made them part of the unit itself. Laughable, but expensive, since I know have a useless refrigerator.

Purchased this fridge to fit into an existing space - so very happy with its dimensions. Glad it exchanges heat through the front lower vent. Love the ice and water dispenser. Lots of room and storgae inside the fridge. As to be expected from a side by side this dimension, no place for a frozen pizza box inside the freezer section. Have been very happy with this product and recommend it highly. Like the white color being available.
