Compressor went out after a year and a half. Customer service was great had someone come out and repair 2 days after call and got reembernesed for food lost after repair

We will mark our third anniversary with this refrigerator in June. We loved it up until February when the compressor died. We had a 5 year extended warranty through LG which we didnt need since the compressor is warratied much longer than the standard warranty on the rest of the box. And please be forewarned about the LG extended warranty. It took well over 3 weeks to get a qualified LG technician who could actually repair it. They send technicians who are not qualified to work on refrigeration first to make sure it really needs to be repaired.

I purchased this refrigerator several years ago- One of the worst refrigerators I have ever owned- I have had to replace the compressor 4 times- Researched about this refrigerator it was under litigation and the people won- Poorly designed compressor- However I never knew about this received no compensation- Verey disappointing- My floor was ruined also costing several thousand of dollars to replace and fixed

I bought this refrigerator hoping the door in door was really as good as it sounded. It is better I absolutely love it. It saves time and cool air which means it costs less to operate. It took a little while to figure out exactly what I wanted in the outside door area but once I had that in place it is fabulous. I unexpectedly decided to sell my home and move. My new place is smaller. I wrote to LG requesting that they make this model in a 30-32 width so I can buy another one. That is how fabulous this refrigerator is.
