The features were outstanding on this refrigerator. The double ice make sounded awesome There have been a few replacements of the ice maker necessary throughout its life. And just recently we had to replace the compressor. I would recommend an extended warranty on the newer large units

Ive had this refrigerator for about six years. I love it I love the dual icemakers I love that the icemaker in the refrigerator doesnt take up shelf room and I still have the door storage. That was some thing the other refrigerators did not have. I have had two issues one my icemaker stopped working and I had to have that repaired and secondly my compressor went out and LG helped with the replacement of that. Otherwise I am still in love it.

Love the features of this refrigerator. Great size and great look. Little frustrated that the ice production is not as good as our previous LG. Ice is cheap so we keep an extra bag in the freezer if it doesnt keep up.

Major Reliability Issues

This is a full featured fridge with great interior space. However we have had major issues with reliability. It has now been almost seven years and we have had two compressor replacements and most recently the fridge has stopped cooling. An LG authorized service person came and checked it - told us there is a coolant leak somewhere in the body of the fridge that is not accessible and cannot be repaired. He said it needs to be replaced. Less than seven years of ownership and this expensive appliance is now junk? LG - this is not what your consumers are signing up for

I have had this fridge for almost five years five years now. Luckily my warranty wasnt up yet because the compressor unit just died. I have now been waiting over two weeks to shelve a service tech come out and get it fixed. Thank goodness for my old reliable beer fridge that will never die so I have a backup. I really miss ice cubes.
