We have had this LG refrigerator for more than 6 years now and have purchased a similar one for a rental house. It is easy to keep clean the interior is well lit and organizing the contents is easy with the shelves and bins that come with the refrigerator. The only drawback is that it has frozen up on several occasions causing the refrigerator section to stop cooling. The remedy is simple but annoying. Shutting off the refrigerator for two days and removing the contents corrects the problem.

After having the fridge for a few years I have already changed the ice make 3 time and it looks like its ready for a fourth. Also have water under the chrisper draw due to a clugged defrost drain. Technician has been here twice and its still not fixed.

Since my purchase in 2016 the compressor has died TWICE. LG has been difficult to work with and if they DO agree to compensate for spoiled food and in this big monster-sized fridge theres a LOT of food that spoils it doesnt come close to what weve lost. I will say its been a quiet fridge so Im grateful for that. And when the compressor works I love this fridge But breaking every 3 years and losing hundreds of dollars worth of food is a major dealbreaker.

The refridge is good when it works but very unreliable. In 6 years we have had to have it serviced at least 3 times with major parts having to be replaced on two occasions. Lost food on each service due to tempature.
