We bought this refrigerator several years ago for over $3,000. Apparently, because of the extra ice maker in the refrigerator section, there is a cooling coil in the back panel of the refrigerator that causes the back of the refrigerator to freeze up and collect ice. The ice on the back panel creates a rust and moisture issue that rots away the back of the refrigerator along with damaging the wall behind and the floor below the refrigerator. See photos. From my research, this appears to be a known design flaw and instead of recalling the refrigerators it appears that they wait to see if you notice it before the warranty expires. If you are outside the warranty, they won’t do anything other than offer a modest rebate off a new refrigerator. Oh yeah, the rebate ends just 30 days after you notify them of the issue. Suffice to say I will never buy from Electrolux again. Buyer beware!

This was replacement for the gen one that was part of the Class Action. It last a few years and now the temperature, both in freezer and refrigerator is high. Goes up, then goes down a few temps, then goes up again and then down. There is no logic how and why it is doing it. This is daily and continuously. Fridge and freezer are. not usable. Also, the back of the fridge where the ice maker is, rusted. I am very sad that I wasted my money for Electrolux appliances .They did not post my review because it is not a good review. It is the TRUTH!!!

Relaced another brand french door refrigerator with our new Electrolux. Couldn't be happier. We ae especially pleased with the filter system. Our ice and water have really improved. Overall a great deign. Love the 2 icemakers

I love this frig. It's roomy and very effective storing everything. I only have one little gripe. The upper ice compartment does keep the ice cold enough and it slightly thaws. Then it freezes together so that it doesn't exit easily. I don't use a lot of ice so it's not a big deal to me, but to ice lovers it could be.
