This is the exact model I own & the air filter is not located on the top left utility bin. Are there any other locations possibly? My fridge is about to die.

I have purchased Frigidaire products in the past and have had no issues however this fridge has caused me a lot of problems almost from the beginning. After one year it stopped working in the summer so I had to buy ice and keep my food in that until I could get it repaired. The warranty had just expired so I decided to buy an extended warranty after paying for this first repair. Thankfully I got the extended warranty because the next summer the fridge went out again and I had to have the compressor replaced after only two years. Sometimes the fridge just stops working for a few minutes and then starts beeping so I have to reset the temperature. Lately I noticed a loud humming in my bedroom when I’m trying to sleep and have been searching for the cause. After a week I figured out it’s the sound of the fridge. It vibrates so loudly that it reaches up into my bedroom. I can’t believe that this is normal operating sounds like the manual states.

I bought this refrigerator in November 2016 and have repeatedly had problems with the freezer icing up and evaporator fan going out. Have had service people out over and over. they replaced everything they could think of but the problem never went away. Extended warranty now expired but the problem persists.

Worst refrigerator I have EVER owned! Cracking all around the white plastic inside. Freezer frosts over. Ice maker not working. Paid over 2900.00 and purchased Lowes 4 yr warranty. Frigidaire fix for cracking was a white duct tape. VERY UPSET! Still waiting for Lowes and Frigidaire to right this wrong!!!
