Three years does not seem long enough for a freezer to run. Our old one ran for years. The appliance store where we bought it said 3-5 years is expected. What happened to mechanical standards. It is such a shame that we have become a throw away society.

I bought the freezer about a month ago, and so far we love it. It is bigger than I thought but perfect for our household. I like the fact that I do not need to defrost the freezer since a frost-free freezer.
