Owned the washer/dryer combo for 3 years. The washer started leaking around the detergent tray after 1 year causing shorts in the front digital panel. We eventually tired of waiting between loads for the components to dry out, so we could use the unit, and decided to replace it with a much less expensive washer.

Had high hopes for this machine, but it has been a non-stop pain in the neck. The door gasket becomes moldy and mildewy super easily. This means that you have to carefully wipe it out after each wash, then leave the door open so air can circulate. The gasket is very difficult to clean. Hard to reach in the deep folds and be sure you get everything out. I spend more time cleaning the gasket than sorting laundry and starting the washer. Customer service knows about the problem and tells you to live with it or pay big bucks to have the gasket replaced and start all over again with the prima donna maintenance routine. Last electrolux appliance for this family.
