I bought this in May 2018. It's just me and my husband, kids are long gone, so we average a load a week. ONE LOAD. We don't play in the mud nor get grass stains on our pants. We don't need to wash 10 towels at a time. Our needs are pretty simple. So, a month ago, during the spin cycle, it sounds like a 747 is taking off in our basement. Kept getting worse and louder. Had a technician come and tell us it was the bearing assembly. $135 to diagnose, $750 to fix. We didn't have an extended warranty but when we called customer service, we were told they'd cover the part but not labor. They never told us how much the part would cost nor any estimation on labor. Heck, if you're taking apart the whole machine to replace a <2 year old bearing assembly, it's probably going to be close to $600-$700. I'm beyond annoyed. Thing is, I loved the machine prior to this episode. So not only am I annoyed but really disappointed in the failure of the product and customer service's response. Silly me, I thought Electrolux would stand behind its products for more than one year.

We bought this washer about 2 and a half years ago. The front panel started to not respond to touch, but now it's on the fritz. When it's powered on the temperture selection keeps adjusting on its own constantly, the washer will start on it's own if the door is shut, but when it is running it constantly beeps and then stops in the middle of it's cycle. We can't use it at all anymore.

Great washer, keeps up with all the dirty clothes little kids make. Plus it is a quiet washer, a plus. But when a part broke not so quiet....and just that one part is half the cost of a new washer. So good washer but being so expensive I would expect the parts to be easier to replace.

We bought the washer and dryer together for our new home. We never owned Electrolux before, and I couldn't be happier. Performs beautifully along with a very stylish design! I would definitely recommend your appliances to anyone.
