Great... except for the locking mechanism

Bought 16months ago and just had to spend ~$50 on a replacement locking latch. While I access the drawer on a daily basis (trash can liners stored under the washer), I expected (and hoped) it would last longer... and for the record the drawer is never slammed shut. Here's to hoping the replacement part lasts longer!

I bought this and after opening it 4 times, it does Not stay closed. At this time I wish I did not buy.

I was actually almost not going to purchase the pedestal drawers , but did after my brother's strong recommendation - and SO glad I did. They are VERY roomy and although I've filled them with various liquid detergents and supplies of substantial weight , they open and close easily with a touch of my foot. The other advantage is laundry supplies out of sight.

Great storage capacity and functionality.

Bought them about six months ago. Very easy to open, sliding is very smooth. Very easy to reach all the way to the back of the drawer. Love them!
