I was so sorry to have to get rid of the over-50 year old antique Maytag dryer that was my parents’, but am delighted to have the newest Maytag. It’s gentle and quiet and the chiming, almost musical sounding alerts were such a pleasant surprise in contract to the alarming “wrong answer” buzzer sound from the prior 1950s model. Love the steam refresh, as well! One last thing, if I ever need to seek shelter or hide from someone, I can crawl in and shut the door.
