My wife and I recently acquired a Speed Queen washer and dryer set. I had intended to purchase something with a large capacity, which wasn't an option with the Speed Queen. The salesman claimed the Speed Queen quality and dependability was unmatched, so I was persuaded. We are extremely pleased! The washer and dryer are no frills - they just work, and work well. The dryer dries on one cycle! The best thing is they do what I tell them to do. I do not need a washing machine dictating to me how much water it is going to use. I will tell it how much water to use, and how many rinse cycles, etc. I highly recommend them.
