We bought this Dryer and the matching washing machine in December of 2012. The washer needed a new water pump last year. The dry heating element went out last week and when I check the electrical I saw this major short. For a high-end brand, I am disappointed by the longevity of the products.

Bought the washer/dryer pair in 2014 and have been completely satisfied with my purchase. They are used almost daily and have never experienced any problems. The features are outstanding and love the steam function. The large capacities for both the washer and dryer are a huge plus!

I like that you can turn off the chime noise when you are selecting the setting etc

Electrolux uses industry standard of 1 year warranty to back its appliances. I purchased and used this dryer for 18 months before it died, so I guess it worked out pretty well. Service tech identified the board as the problem. Repair would cost $200+ and be backed for 90 day after installation. Do the math and draw your own conclusions.
