The machine is ultra quiet, which is why we selected it. The controls are conveniently located but they are very small and hard to read. The vinyl rack system is smooth in sliding in and out but the racks are not designed to accommodate many plate or bowels. The cup rack has the same issue. Based on our family size these issues are not huge but they are worth noting.

I received my dishwasher as an early Christmas present from my husband. I was first impressed by how quiet it was compared to my old dishwasher. I like the stainless steel interior and the black front that matches the rest of my appliances. It does a great job cleaning and in a way that saves energy and I like that. Over all I love my new Amana dishwasher.

My husband just got me an early Christmas present of an Amana tall tub dishwasher. It is so quiet and does such a great job of cleaning that I just Love it. It is easy to load and use.

This new dishwasher doesn't hold quite as much as our previous Whirlpool model. Also, after several uses we had a bad odor coming from it, and wondered why--if it was installed correctly or not. Since that one time, it's been alright.
