Electrolux 27'' - 3.9 Cu. Ft. Self-Clean Convection Single Electric Wall Oven

The first time I glanced inside the cavity of an Electrolux oven, it was like looking into the eyes of a soulmate. I wanted that oven. No matter how I tried to convince myself to forget it, or attempted to choose a different brand, it kept haunting me.Well, now I know why. This oven is fantastic beyond belief. It can take ordinary frozen food and produce something perfect. Use the convection roast feature and you have crisp roasted potatoes in a tiny amount of time. Convection bake produces muffins with a perfect rise, crisp exterior, and succulent interior. I've seen this oven at more than twice the price and was thrilled at Appliances Connection's price. Free ship and no tax. But would it be perfect? I was terrified I'd be disappointed. Truthfully, I believe there are minor blemishes--a tiny smidge of extra glue at one side of the panoramic window; an infinitesimal ding inside the oven. Otherwise, perfection. Joy. Cooking the way it was meant to be to comfort your soul and nourish your palate.The three racks sort of fill the oven, such that most jobs might require only two racks. But you can leave them in for muffins and there's plenty of room. That special easy-glide rack is smooth and will be wonderful for heavy dutch ovens. Or a turkey.I love the idea of the meat probe, but haven't done a roast yet. I wish it didn't automatically default to a warm setting after the roast reaches temp, because I'd always have a pan of roasting vegs on another rack, but that's a small issue. It's very easy to adjust the temps.The fan is very quiet. The oven makes the kitchen only slightly warm, a huge improvement over reviews I've read about other products. And it does not heat the cabinets above or below as some ovens do. It works perfectly, just as you'd want it to.I feel the broiler is a bit small, and so is the broiler pan, but based on experience so far, I don't want to quibble. Another small complaint is the filtration system--which most people will love. Somehow it filters the air, so if you burn something, there is no smell in the room at all. Obviously that could happen if you singe the tips of chicken wings while broiling. But I prefer to smell what I cook, because I bake, and that's how I know something is done.My criticisms are minor. I'm a picky person, attuned to the most minor of details. But it's rare that I buy something that I love as much as I do this oven. As an expert cook, I can make a good dinner in even my old oven. In this oven, I can cook a dinner that makes you swoon.I can't recommend it highly enough.

This appliance came with my new house as an upgrade. After 1 year, I have yet to have a good experience with this oven. Most of my tried and true recipes are either underdone or overdone. Never cooks evenly.
