LG Appliances 2.0 Cu. Ft. 1200W Countertop Microwave

Had a LG before this one almost exactly same but faster and easier to use.

One of the best microwave ovens i have used so far

We have had this microwave for a few years and its worked really well and still works really well but there is one problem. It looks like its starting to eat itself? We have never used any type of chemicals to clean the inside but thats what the roof looks like. The rest of the microwave on the inside is fine but the top completely started flaking off. Has this fallen in our food?

I brought my almost 9 years ago. I did my research and decided on this brand because I already had a LG Smartphone that I was totally in love with. So in all my research certain features stood out for me. I like that it was black on black outside and in as will as it was round on the inside and my big bowl wouldnt have problems turning around. I like that it had a light on the inside as well as the timer the pre programming for different things. This was the best microwave LG has ever had and when she died this month I cried. I called LG to see if they made another one like this only to find out that they dont. I am completely and totally devastated that they dont made this one anymore. I dont know why companies do this when you have such a wonderful well thought out product you go and try to improve and mess the whole thing up. Because I couldnt get this product again I had to go to a different brand which made me so sad. WHY OH WHY DID THEY MESS THIS UP FOR ME I loved it so much I went to ebay looking for another. Even though I have a new microwave it makes me sad that its not that one. Thanks for listening Im just a women who had microwave that had everything.

Bought approximately 3years ago and quit heating. Very poor quality for price you pay. I ve had microwaves fraction of the price last twice as long.
