The on off switch broke at 4 years and is not fixable. This $10 to $50 dollar part makes us buy a new one. Real good for land fills this waste!

Same problem as other reviewers have noted. The touchpad on this thing seems to be delaminating, and we haven't even had it for two months yet. Just two adults using the microwave, no kids. There is no reason for the touchpad to look like its buttons are scratched up already. For the price, I'd expect something much more durable. We should have skipped the matching appliance package and purchased a different brand for less than half the price. Not happy.

Bought this in Dec 2015 but did not get installed until June 2016 due to kitchen remodel. Within 6 months (and fortunately within the 1 year warranty) the unit started making unusual grinding/growling-type noises when used in convection mode. Since we rarely tried the convection mode, I suspect this was a problem from the start. To their credit, Kitchenaid replaced the unit after discussing the issue with them over the phone. Now, 2 years later, the display numbers are missing segments. Needless to say, I'm not impressed with Kitchenaid quality, which is why I purchased this item. I always had a positive impression of Kitchenaid but this is my first experience in a while and it has changed my impression.

I am deeply disappointed in my Countertop convection microwave oven. I bought the oven in July 2017 and I noticed yesterday that there is condensation in the window. I can't imagine that this is safe. I have had a KitchenAid covection range for over 20 years and loved it.
