What an upgrade from our old hood! The JennAir is so much better at moving air and with its easily removable vents, it's easy to clean. Works great!

We bought a 30" gas range, dishwasher, hood and counter depth French door refrigerator for a renovation project. The installation was smooth; the contractor followed the specs and instructions and everything fit perfectly. We are looking forward to the summer and entertaining our friends and family in our brand new kitchen

The hood I had before wasn't to code, so I knew the new one would be placed lower. What I didn't take into account was how much farther it would go into the kitchen from the island. Sadly, my roommate has gashed his forehead on it pretty severely because he can't actually cook on the stove without leaning around the side of it. The dials aren't particularly intuitive. The strangest thing about this is how nice it looks on the front, but it's completely open on the back. this is mounted in an island cabinet over my stove and about 5" hangs below the bottom of the cabinet (again, had to lower for code). It's unfinished metal and not particularly attractive.

Great replacement for my over the range microwave hood.

I wanted to replace our microwave hood with a real hood. This is an ideal product because it is built with standard 3 1/4" x 10" ducting which hooked up directly to my existing duct work. Although it is loud on high, the 600 cfm blower doesn't seem to choke as much as I thought it might, trying to force so much air through smaller duct work. Very well built. All stainless inside and out.
