Replaced DHG601DUC with DHG602DUC

Unit failed after 5 years. Repair shops unable to get parts. Decided to try to replace with DHG602DUC (blower for more recent Bosch downdrafts). Removed existing blower using torx screwdriver (see photo). Purchased DHG602DUC (see photo for comparison). Drilled holes and mounted new blower. Connected duct work. Wired new blower to old blower plug. Works great. Challenging but satisfying repair to a critical kitchen appliance. Good luck.
