works wonderfully. Only complaint (and it doesn't affect the way the elements work) is the stabilizing brackets under the unit. They don't really stabilize and the bracket holes weren't threaded.

I already had a Maytag slide in stove and I change it for glass top and I am very pleased with Maytag products, I also have washer and dryer.

I bought this 4 months ago and it's great. The elements come on quickly and heat very quickly too. The top surface is truly scratch resistance which is a feature that is not true with many other brands and models. We are very happy with this choice.
