I haven't had this unit for very long but so far it has been great, fit like a glove where my old unit was and much quieter than the old unit great features very satisfied with it.

I live in Texas (Tyler) My A/C was purchased right after we completed our house in May of 2005 for my 24X14 shop. I use it every time I work in the shop. It has served me well so that I can do repairs on mower etc. Without the A/C I could not work in 95 degree temperatures and 80% humidity in my shop. It just quit last month 3/19 and it is cheaper to replace it than repair it as I can not do A/C repair myself. I think 14 years is a good service life! That is about $36 per year for Air conditioning. Ready to buy a new one.

I bought this air conditioning the first one I bought it lasted about two years they replaced with a brand new one because Frigidaire could not fix it. Now this air conditioning is two years old and it's doing the same thing The other one was doing. Good thing we took another extended warranty out. don't waste your money Have had nothing but problems.lt is junk.

This is my second unit in 5 years. First one did very well. This unit though has not worked right since day one. It cools off and on and when its cooling it does not get as cold as our old unit which was the same as this one. When I took it out to clean the outer coils I found in their wisdom they made this unit so you can not get inside to clean gunk off the coils!! I have only had this unit little over a year and I guess its another $800 FOR A NEW UNIT! BEWARE!
